Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any service offered by Extended Travel & Expeditions ("we", "us", or "our"), including our website, booking platform, safari packages, transport services, visa facilitation, or accommodation arrangements, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services immediately. These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and participants who access our services in any capacity. We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
Section 02
Our Services
Extended Travel & Expeditions provides a curated portfolio of travel services including but not limited to: luxury safari packages, cultural and wilderness expeditions, executive transport, car hire, air ticketing, accommodation bookings, furnished apartment rentals, vacation home arrangements, and visa facilitation support. All services are subject to availability, seasonal conditions, third-party supplier terms, and applicable laws in the jurisdictions in which services are rendered. We act as both a principal and agent depending on the nature of the booking, and this distinction will be clearly communicated at the time of confirmation.
Section 03
Bookings & Payments
All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed upon receipt of a deposit as specified in your booking summary. Full payment is required no later than 30 days prior to your departure date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Prices quoted are in the currency specified at the time of booking and are subject to change until a deposit is received. We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and mobile payment methods. Any applicable taxes, service fees, or surcharges will be clearly stated in your booking confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel an unconfirmed booking if payment is not received within the stipulated timeframe.

Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to our reservations team. The following cancellation policy applies unless otherwise specified in your booking: — More than 60 days before departure: Full refund less a 10% administration fee — 30–60 days before departure: 50% of total booking value retained — 14–29 days before departure: 75% of total booking value retained — Fewer than 14 days before departure: No refund We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances. Certain non-refundable supplier costs (e.g., gorilla trekking permits, domestic flight tickets) may be subject to stricter policies, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
Section 05
Limitation of Liability
Extended Travel & Expeditions acts in good faith in arranging travel services on your behalf. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or expense arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, government actions, civil unrest, natural disasters, disease outbreaks, or the negligence of third-party suppliers. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total price paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We strongly advise all clients to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and personal liability prior to travel.
Section 06
Client Conduct
Clients are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and lawful manner throughout their engagement with our services and during any trip or experience facilitated by us. We reserve the right to terminate services without refund if a client's behaviour endangers the safety of others, wildlife, or natural environments, or violates any applicable law. Clients must adhere to all park rules, conservation guidelines, and the instructions of licensed guides at all times. Photography and interaction with wildlife must comply with the regulations of the respective national park or reserve authorities.
Section 07
Visa Facilitation
Our visa facilitation service assists clients in preparing and submitting visa applications. We do not guarantee the approval of any visa application, as final decisions rest solely with the relevant embassy or government authority. Clients are responsible for ensuring that all information provided to us for visa purposes is accurate and complete. We accept no liability for refusals, delays, or costs arising from incorrect or incomplete information, or from changes in immigration policies. Processing fees paid to embassies are non-refundable regardless of outcome.
Section 08
Intellectual Property
All content on our website and marketing materials — including photographs, itineraries, copy, logos, and design elements — is the intellectual property of Extended Travel & Expeditions or our licensed partners. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use of any such content without our prior written consent is strictly prohibited. User-generated content submitted to us (reviews, testimonials, photographs) may be used by us for marketing purposes. By submitting such content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it in any medium.
Section 09
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Extended Travel & Expeditions with respect to your use of our services.
